V.F.W.-Voice of Democracy
Since 1947, the Voice of Democracy has been the Veterans of foreign Wars' premier scholarship program. Compete by writing and recording an audio essay on an annual patriotic theme. This year's theme is, "How are you showing patriotism and support for our country?" Prizes and scholarships can be awarded at the Post, District, State and National level. Ron Brown Scholar Program
The Ron Brown Scholar Program seeks to identify students who will make significant contributions to society. Applicants must excel academically, show exceptional leadership potential and make an impact on their communities through service to others. To be eligible, applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, Black/African American and current high school seniors at the time of their application. Community service and financial need is required.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship for goal driven students. We plan to award 1200 new four-year scholarships. This scholarship is designed to provide recipients with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free. Free workshops, Free Schwab Brokerage Accounts and Free Study Abroad provide recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically covered in the school curriculum. Recipients graduating college while in the Hagan Scholarship Program can apply for a Hagan Graduate Scholarship good for up to four additional consecutive semesters to attend graduate school.
Eligibility Requirements
Must attend a high school in the U.S.
Eligible students can apply regardless of nationality or citizenship.
Must have achieved a 3.5 Cumulative Grade Point Average.
Must enroll at an Eligible Four-Year College or University the first semester following high school graduation.
Must work 240 hours from January 1, 2026 until commencement of the 2024 fall semester in college. Work can be performed at recipient discretion. Work must be regularly scheduled employment performed under supervision for compensation.
Award recipients will receive $2000 to purchase essential items for college.
Award recipients will be eligible to receive up to $7500 each semester.
Parents 2024 adjusted gross income must not have exceeded $100,000.

The Mass Elks Association fosters and carries on the philanthropic work of assisting worthy young men and women to secure the advantages of an undergraduate college education through a corporation organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Mass and known as the Mass Elks Scholarship Inc. National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Scholarship/Essay Contest (NIAAA)
In accordance with National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) purpose to promote, facilitate, and increase the knowledge and understanding of the vital role of interscholastic athletics in the educational system, this scholarship program will foster and acknowledge the partnership between the NIAAA and secondary education. Red Pine Scholars Program
The Red Pine Scholars Program is seeking its next class of students from low- to middle-income families in Massachusetts who have demonstrated academic excellence and are planning to attend competitive colleges as freshmen in the fall of 2026. The Arisdine Krikorian Scholarship
The Krikorian family was deeply proud of their Armenian heritage and devoted to many Armenian organizations in Watertown and Belmont, Massachusetts. This award was established through the generosity of John's family & friends. John was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing in all seasons, hunting and snowmobiling when the berkshire winter permitted it. NEACAC (New England Association for College Admission Counseling) Annual Contest
A panel of high school counselors and college admission officers from NEACAC-member institutions will select the winning essays. Essays will be evaluated holistically, taking into consideration factors such as originality, creativity, focus, clarity, and structure. Priority will be given to applicants who hold an identity that has been historically excluded from higher education. One Winner from each state will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship and a separate New England Overall Winner will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship (cannot be combined with the state award.) These students will receive recognition at an awards ceremony during the Association’s Annual Meeting & Conference and have their names published in the NEACAC Newsletter.

Lenox Garden Club
This scholarship reflects the club’s mission to nurture our natural habitat with inspiration and imagination. Students with a curiosity about the natural world are invited to demonstrate their interest in pursuing studies leading to a career in horticulture or environmental conservation, broadly defined. Applicants need not be ready to declare a particular major but must be planning to enroll in post-secondary courses in an academic field of study that provides a deep understanding of people and plants, and their ecological relationships and interdependencies.
For example, scholarship applicants may be interested in taking courses in the biological sciences (e.g., botany, zoology, horticulture, agriculture, environmental studies) or other fieldwork-based disciplines (e.g., geology, oceanography, anthropology) that provide practical experience and research skills to explore areas such as food systems, urban forestry, or the environmental protection of plants, wildlife, and pollinators. Some students may want to learn about landscape design and restoration or the historic preservation of gardens and natural habitats. Others may wish to address civic issues or social justice by studying the creative arts or education.

Alternatives for Youth Foundation, Inc. (AYF) -William J. Wolfe Scholarship
The Key Program, Inc. developed a formal scholarship program for youth who have received services from the agency or DCF. Funding is made possible through the Alternatives for Youth Foundation, a supporting organization to Key. The foundation's stated purpose is supporting programs and activities that are fundamentally consistent with Keys mission to assist troubled youth and their families with developing positive life skills ad life experiences so that they may pursue productive and rewarding lives. Applicants must have received services, performed successfully academically and have demonstrated commitment to following through with their educational/vocational goals. As well as overcoming challenges and obstacle, having a positive impact on their own development and/or their communities and have financial need.

The Willem Willeke Memorial Scholarship Program was created in 1983 in honor of cellist Willem Willeke who served as the first Director of South Mountain Concerts from 1918 to 1950. Conrad Bernier Scholarship
The Conrad R. Bernier Memorial Scholarship honors the life of Conrad R. Bernier, the President and CEO of the Pittsfield Cooperative Bank from 1995-2011 and Chairman of the board until 2020. This $500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior that resides in the general market to assist with tuition costs. Daniel Pearl Berkshire scholarship
Scholarship given in memory of Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal reporter kidnapped and killed in Pakistan early in 2002. Pearl worked in the Berkshires at the North Adams Transcript and The Berkshire eagle. While his career was in journalism, he was also a gifted musician, trained as a classical violinist. A $2000 award will be given to a student who intends to study and pursue a career in journalism or music.

Tate Riva Memorial Scholarship
Tate Riva, of North Canaan Connecticut, attended the Salisbury School, where he received a prestigious art award. His senior year he attended Mount Everett High School where he participated in the Fall Festival of Shakespeare and graduated in 2010. Tate also attended MCLA where he studied computer security and programming. Tate was always passionate about art much like his father, Rusty. On December 31, 2016, Tate met “the love of his life” Karley Deets. Karley, also passionate about performing and visual arts, was a perfect match for Tate. At the age of 28 Tate was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer. Sadly, he lost his battle on October 31 of 2020. Karley and Rusty, along with their close family and friends, established and funded this scholarship in Tate’s memory to help others pursue their passion for the arts. Richard "Jax" Jaquez was a member of the U.S. Army and a member of the Berkshire County Sheriff's office since 2008. He was the definition of Fair, Firm, and consistent. The Engineering Center Education Trust (TECET)
The Engineering Center Education Trust (TECET), a non-profit organization, works to enhance the impact of the Massachusetts engineering and land surveying community. The scholarship will be awarded to one student and paid in increments of $2,500 per year. In order to be eligible, the applicant must reside in Massachusetts and must plan to attend a four year ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited engineering, land surveying, or a pre-engineering program including those at community colleges, and intend to major in an *eligible discipline. This scholarship is named after Al Bianchi and Vera Bianchi-Barbarotta, a brother and sister who impacted the young people of Berkshire county during their lives. Joseph Renzi graduated from PHS Vocational in 1960. He was passionate about supporting youth in exploring career paths in all vocational fields. JERICHO-Father Robert F. Wagner/Barbara A. Kiely Memorial scholarship
The goal of this scholarship is to remember JERICHO's founder Father Robert Wagner and beloved teacher Barbara Kiely and to encourage and assist those who wish to follow in his footsteps by bringing dignity, respect and wholeness to the lives of persons with disabilities. Must be a resident of Berkshire County and a graduating senior with plans to further your education. Demonstrate either an intention to pursue a degree and career dedicated to serving persons with disabilities, or be a person with a disability seeking to further his or her education. Financial need, academic achievement,volunteer service and church & community activities will also be considered.
