V.F.W.-Voice of Democracy
Since 1947, the Voice of Democracy has been the Veterans of foreign Wars' premier scholarship program. Compete by writing and recording an audio essay on an annual patriotic theme. This year's theme is, "How are you showing patriotism and support for our country?" Prizes and scholarships can be awarded at the Post, District, State and National level. Submissions will be reviewed with one being submitted to the local VFW.

Ron Brown Scholar Program
The Ron Brown Scholar Program seeks to identify students who will make significant contributions to society. Applicants must excel academically, show exceptional leadership potential and make an impact on their communities through service to others. To be eligible, applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, Black/African American and current high school seniors at the time of their application. Community service and financial need is required.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship for goal driven students. We plan to award 1200 new four-year scholarships. This scholarship is designed to provide recipients with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free. Free workshops, Free Schwab Brokerage Accounts and Free Study Abroad provide recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically covered in the school curriculum. Recipients graduating college while in the Hagan Scholarship Program can apply for a Hagan Graduate Scholarship good for up to four additional consecutive semesters to attend graduate school.
Eligibility Requirements
Must attend a high school in the U.S.
Eligible students can apply regardless of nationality or citizenship.
Must have achieved a 3.5 Cumulative Grade Point Average.
Must enroll at an Eligible Four-Year College or University the first semester following high school graduation.
Must work 240 hours from January 1, 2026 until commencement of the 2024 fall semester in college. Work can be performed at recipient discretion. Work must be regularly scheduled employment performed under supervision for compensation.
Award recipients will receive $2000 to purchase essential items for college.
Award recipients will be eligible to receive up to $7500 each semester.
Parents 2024 adjusted gross income must not have exceeded $100,000.

Equitable is committed to students who show potential: those with courage to pursue what's possible; who display strength in managing challenges; who share wisdom with others. Massachusetts Elks Scholarship
The Mass Elks Association fosters and carries on the philanthropic work of assisting worthy young men and women to secure the advantages of an undergraduate college education through a corporation organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Mass and known as the Mass Elks Scholarship Inc. The program offers grants to students demonstrating financial need, scholarship aptitude, and good citizenship. Grants may be renewed yearly, based on continued demonstration of financial need and academic achievement.

Twenty Scholarships at a maximum of one thousand dollars each shall be awarded based on the following: scholastic ability, character, and activities. National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Scholarship/Essay Contest (NIAAA)
In accordance with National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) purpose to promote, facilitate, and increase the knowledge and understanding of the vital role of interscholastic athletics in the educational system, this scholarship program will foster and acknowledge the partnership between the NIAAA and secondary education. The scholarships will recognize the distinguished scholastic, leadership, and citizenship attributes of high school student athletes, and the importance of high school athletics in each student’s life. Must have achieved at least (2), min of a B average, be ranked in the top 25% and/or ACT score of 24 or SAT score of 1100 (math & reading). Must have participated in at least 2 sports for 2 years in each sport. Must have earned at least 1 varsity letter.

Red Pine Scholars Program
The Red Pine Scholars Program is seeking its next class of students from low- to middle-income families in Massachusetts who have demonstrated academic excellence and are planning to attend competitive colleges as freshmen in the fall of 2026. This program is designed to support undergraduate students through tuition assistance, mentoring, and other flexible financial supports. The Red Pine Scholars Program is dedicated to making college affordable for Massachusetts families and helping students reach their full potential. The program is funded by an anonymous donor and administered by The Philanthropic Initiative (TPI).

The Arisdine Krikorian Scholarship
The Krikorian family was deeply proud of their Armenian heritage and devoted to many Armenian organizations in Watertown and Belmont, Massachusetts. They were keenly interested in the educational advancement of Armenian children. That interest led to the creation of this scholarship program. We are delighted to announce a scholarship opportunity for students of Armenian descent or those pursuing Armenian studies at the collegiate level residing in Massachusetts who are planning to attend a four-year college or university or a post-graduate program in the U.S. The program offers a one-year scholarship of up to $10,000 to cover tuition, fees and educational expenses.
