Standards Based Learning Series
The Standards Based Learning Series in Perry Local Schools is focused on the District's mission statement and aspirations for students - the Perry Learner Profile. The series develops professional growth in standards 2-4 and 6-7 of Ohio’s Standards for the Teaching Profession as well as all teaching domains of OTES 2.0. Resources used include:
Formative Instructional Practices (Ohio Department of Education, FIP 1 -5),
Understanding by Design (UbD, Wiggins and McTighe),

This 3-course series is considered essential training for best practice instruction for Perry teachers/leaders. Teachers and leaders hired since 2013 complete the applicable Standards Based Learning Series within the first four years of employment which includes: Novice, Practitioner, and Scholar.
