Contact Hour Opportunities
Below are some opportunities where Perry staff can pick up Contact Hours for their license renewal, outside of Perry. These sites are not pre-approved by LPDC for automatic credit. Contact Hours will still need to meet the LPDC requirements below.
Requirements:
Contact Hour activities must meet the Perry Local Schools Standards for an Individual Professional Development Plan.
Contact Hour activities must be pre-approved by the LPDC and/or Reviewers (Principals and LPDC Co-Chairs) whose authority is granted by the LPDC.
Contact Hour’s cannot be used for advancement on the salary schedule.
The LDPC will not pre-approve Contact Hour providers. Contact Hour’s will be approved based upon the individual plan submitted by the candidate.
SPARCC offers a variety of professional development technology training sessions, most based on Google tools.
