Triangle Game

Supplies: 2 dice (two different colors) per pair of students,

a student handout for each student

Color 1 adjectives Color 2 adjectives

1,2 acute 1,2 equilateral

3,4 obtuse 3,4 isosceles

5,6 right 5,6 scalene

Directions: Find a partner. You and your partner should both rolls a dice at the same time. Both of you should write the two triangle adjectives in a box and draw the resulting triangle. Be sure to covering your work so that your partner does not see your answer. If it is not possible to draw that triangle, write “Not Possible.” Compare your answer with your partner. You earn one point for every correct answer. Continue rolling the dice and drawing triangles until all boxes are filled.
