Europe and the wider world

We Europeans are only a small part of the world, we can't think only about ourselves, we also need to collaborate with other continents, for trading the goods and we get raw material from other countries that we don't have. There are also many problems such as wars and underdevelopment, environmental pollution and climate change. It's important that the EU contributes to the world for a better future. Also there are many issues inside the EU. Such as migration and immigration. The problem isn't about legal immigration, but illegal. The EU is trying to help improve the living conditions in the countries, where the illegal immigrants originated, so they don't have to leave their countries illegally anymore. Also the EU is helping other countries to develop through trade, by opening its markets to exports from developing countries and by encouraging them to increase trade among themselves. All that is good for global development. The EU is trying to influence other countries to be more environmentally friendly, and to respect democratic fundamental rights and freedoms.
