English

This project course was a great learning experience. There were many new words and phrases, which I didn't know before. Presentations helped me a lot, they were understandable, but yet they helped me to make my writing more colourful. Youtube videos did not help that much with vocabulary, but they helped with pronunciations. For example I hadn't heard about the word eudaimonia before. I think I was able to take some “European” English by studying the presentations on the EU. It was more simplified English. From “Keeping Mum” I remember most vividly the Christian jokes.

When I was writing a debate speech, I started with collecting my ideas. I was looking at the draft and thinking about topics I wanted to talk about. Also I wrote down all my ideas and created then one whole speech. I didn't change my wording much, but some phrases I did change.

Writing a third review was easier, because I already had some experience. I didn't do planning for writing, I tried to focus on answering the questions. The easiest part was to talk about the film itself, but the hardest part was talking about the humour.
