Color Guard Practice - Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, 1430 - 1600 Hours (As Required)Uniform - Duty Uniform, school attire or appropriate PT gear
The Brahman Battalion maintains an active Color Guard program that consists of both male and female Color Guard team members. Our teams compete in local competitions against area schools and have the opportunity to compete at the state and national level. Our Color Guard also serves as the "face" of the Battalion through participation in school and community events such as sporting events, national holiday celebrations, veterans ceremonies and local parades. Success in the Color Guard program requires much discipline and precision but brings a strong feeling of pride and patriotism in all who participate. All JROTC students are welcome to be part of the Color Guard program and team positions for competitions and community service events are rotated to enable every member of the Color Guard to participate. Cadets who meet the requirements may also earn distinctive awards including the Color Guard Shoulder cord, ribbon, arc and even a Varsity "O" letter.
