The JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) Summer Camp is held annually at one of several South Florida locations. Cadets compete to attend this rigorous camp and only the most mentally and physically tough get the opportunity to participate. JCLC is a week-long camp and cadets are fully engaged in activities such as rappelling, canoeing, obstacle courses, zip lines, orienteering, drill and ceremonies, and various other team building events. The intent is to challenge cadets in an austere environment and develop their leadership and communication skills. The Brahman Battalion will continue its legacy of excellence and will compete with other local programs for top
honors again this and every year. Go Brahmans!

JCLC Testimonials
Dear Major Locklear,
The reason For this letter is to show you my reason why i would like to return to The "JCLC' summer camp for the second time! Honestly at first i wasn't really feeling the whole sleeping in the woods and meeting new cadets BUT! it turned into be one of the best experiences i have ever came in contact with during the summer time. This camp actually made a change in my life, this 5 day 4 night summer camp brought me closer to my peers and it also taught me better leadership skills. It taught me how to work with one another in certain situations. This camp showed me that it's not all about "ME" I was able to make new friends, learn more about myself and others. I also was able to overcome fears that i did not even know had such as, High copes now i am able to be in the sky with no problem thanks to "JCLC" i want to return so that i may be the voice for those cadets that have not yet experienced the camp want to go the upcoming years. I feel as if the more i go to this camp its feeding me new skills that i need to have to help me make it through life in the near future. Not only did this camp help me physically but mentally as well, If i have the opportunity to revisit camp tanah kettah once more i will be greatly thankful. Again thank you for letting me have the first oppurtunity to have the chance to go the first time
Sincerely, Cadet PFC S5 Kidd
