Paper continent activity- Students will arrange continents w/without picture and word evidence. They will connect this to the observations of Alfred Wegener. World Map
Drifting Continents Notes/Picures- continental drift, Pangea, fossils, rock formations, climatic evidence, glacial grooves/deposits
Seafloor Spreading Lab- using paper, with folded ridges, to model mid ocean seafloor spreading.
Drifting Continents Notes/Review- Ocean floor topography, magnetic reversals, isochron, coloring diagram of seafloor spreading. Seafloor spreading online animation.
