fischertechnik Robo TX

fischertechnik is a precision modeling system designed and produced in Germany. Like many modeling systems, fischertechnik is a great way to model structures and machines on a small scale. Unlike many modeling systems, fischertechnik is the choice of scientists and engineers for sophisticated modeling simulations and experiments. fischertechnik can be used to model large structures and simulate complex machines. With its sensors and computer programming capabilities, fischertechnik is even a sophisticated robotics system.

Where Do I Begin?

The ROBO TX system is pretty complicated. Before you begin working on any of the projects, you'll need to follow along with this training tutorial that will help you understand the programming aspect of working with Robo TX.

Further Project Options

Robo TX Training Lab

The fischertechnik ROBO TX Training Lab provides students with the tools needed to construct and program eleven fully-functional robotic models, including six mobile robots such as a driverless transport system, an obstacle detector and a trail searcher. Two encoder motors allow for exact positioning.

I highly suggest focusing on the Hand Dryer or the Pedestrian Light as your first project.

Automation Robots

Four reality-based and fully functional industrial robots: High-rack storage, 3-axis robot and 2 other grappler robots. Stable fischertechnik aluminum channels used in all models. The instructional activity booklet provides support in the form of background information, projects and programming tips.
