What is the Kano Computer?
The Kano Computer Kit is a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) computer that anyone can build! It comes with everything you need to get yourself up and running. During this engagement you'll get to build the computer, design games, code with Minecraft, create code art and much, much more!
When you first boot up the Kano, you should be presented with a log-in screen. If this is your first time at the engagement, choose the new account option and follow along with the directions. When asked to make a profile, make sure to choose Skip. This will still let you save all of your work to the computer, just not online.
Working with the Kano Computer...
There are a variety of activities that you can complete on the Kano computer. Here's a brief overview of a few that stand out. Each of these activities has a tutorial and set of challenges. Try your hand at all of them! Completing these activities would be a great thing to incorporate into your SMART goals.
