To Install Star/Budget cloud on your PC, please follow the following steps
Download Star (this file) or Budget (this file) to your desktop. When prompted select 'saveas' and choose the Desktop. This may not work from Chrome, you may need to use internet Explorer as the web browser.
Ensure macros are enabled within Microsoft Access. Follow Instructions for "Enable macros in the Backstage view"
Open the file downloaded from your desktop.
Star Accounts will attempt to install the required files but some PC's will need to be installed manually if software is missing from your PC. You will be prompted which files to install and these can be found in the section below. It is also possible you may need an Administrator password to install software, you ICT support should hold these passwords.
When the required files have all been installed you will be prompted for your username. This will be your email address.
Your password will have been either previously provided (or known if you have multiple accounts). If you don’t know your password enter your email address and click on the key symbol (top left). This will send an email to the registered email account with a reset password.

Allow WinSCP.exe be run from the machines using the MSAccess client.
We strongly recommend that machines do not access Star Accounts on a Wi-Fi/wireless connection as this can cause stability issues.
Each school must provide one Primary Users email address (for login purposes). This user will be the responsible person for setting up and controlling future access to users within the datafile for the School. It is strongly recommended that the email address is only accessible by the user and is not a generic email address such as office@ or finance@.
