So each quarter you (yes, you...the individual student) will be responsible for updating the nightly calendar for your class. Each section will have its own calendar because in a discussion based course we get WAY OUT OF SYNC so one class' experience is very different from another.
The calendar is a Google Doc and you will work in groups to get the job done. Although the assignment is an individual one you will work with others to complete the task.
Each school day (M, T, W, R, F) the calendar will be updated by 3:15 pm with the following information:
1. what we did in class
2. what the homework is/announcements
3. handouts distributed in class
The "portal people" for the week are allowed to have their phones out in class to do the portal so it is an assignment you can get done in class. How awesome! More details in class! Here is the schedule for this quarter.
