5th grade students at Lincoln Trail Elementary School can choose to be part of the 5th grade choir. The 5th grade choir presents two concerts during the school year: a winter concert in December and a spring concert in May.
Students choosing to be part of the choral program at the Jr. High School will continue to develop their voices and music skills by studying two-, three-, and four-part music within a mixed choir environment.
6th Grade Choir - The 6th grade choir presents two concerts during the school year: a winter concert in December and a spring concert in May.
7th and 8th Grade Choir - The 7th and 8th grade choirs present three concerts during the school: a fall concert in November, a spring concert in March, and a lighter "POPS" concert with the high school choirs in May.
Students choosing to be part of the choral program at the High School have many opportunities to further develop their singing and musical skills.
All three choirs present three concerts each year: a fall concert in November, a winter concert in February, and a "POPS" concert in May.
Concert Choir - The Concert Choir offers students in grades 9 - 12 opportunities to further develop their singing skills in a mixed choir setting.
Chamber Choir -The Chamber Choir offers musically accelerated students in grades 10 - 12 opportunities that challenge their continuing study of music. Auditions are required for entrance into the Chamber Choir.
Treble Choir - The Treble Choir is for soprano and alto voices and offers female students in grades 9 - 12 opportunities to develop their singing skills in a unique women's choir environment.
Madrigals - The Madrigals are an extracurricular choral ensemble. Students audition for this group in the spring and rehears regularly from June-March. The Madrigals perform at three Madrigal Dinner performances in December as well as for many other groups throughout the school year.
Bass Chorus - All tenors and basses are invited to sing in this extracurricular ensemble. Bass Choir meetgs once a week in the mornings and performs at Choral Concerts.
