Pear Deck PD
Pear Deck Slides help you engage every student in every seat and give formative assessments, no matter what grade or subject you teach. Pear Deck supports an interactive and community-focused classroom that helps students build confidence and comprehension.
Accessing Pear Deck:
While logged into your school google account, go to the app selector and select "Pear Deck":
2. Click "Teacher Login". You will be asked to authorize Pear Deck to access your google account - click to "allow". You may also see a place to login to "Premium" - and yes, login to Premium - and you again may be asked to grant permission for Pear Deck - you will only need to do these steps the first time you login to Pear Deck.
3. You will be taken to your Teacher Dashboard where you can create a lesson, choose a prompt or create a vocabulary list. Click "Create a lesson".
4. Google Slides will open and you will be directed to go to the add-on menu to open Pear Deck. You may again need to authorize permission for Pear Deck - Pear Deck is both an app and an add-on so the first time logging in there are a few permissions to grant and accesses to allow!
