The Apple Store in Paris’s Opera district was robbed by men wearing masks on New Year’s Eve. The men were armed with handguns and made off with as much as 1 million euros in merchandise, the Daily Telegraph reports. Police have not confirmed the figure.

The masked men forced their way into the store’s back entrance as the janitor was leaving at around 9pm and looked for boxes of stocked products rather than products on display. Accomplices were waiting in a nearby parked van into which the stolen merchandise was loaded, and the thieves made a getaway at around 9:40pm. Four or five men were suspected to have participated in the heist.
