for assignments dates and due dates. I post assignments and due dates when the assignment is given
to see if I show receiving your assignment. Look in the comments section of an assignment. If it says “Received” it means I have it. If it says “Not Received” it means I do not have it. I try to record this information as soon as possible for each assignment.
Check your E-mail, know all of your information sources for your class
NO LATE ASSIGNMENTS
Some class time is usually available for work. However, this means you need to use that time to it's fullest. Turning all of your work in and putting in your best effort is the best plan for success.
You will have a proportional amount of time to turn items in based on the number of days you were absent. (Example: absent two days, you have two days to turn the item in.)
If you need additional time, you need to speak with me or e-mail me. Contacting me a month after an assignment was due is not a successful strategy. The item(s) may not be eligible for credit.
Turning work in late serves no academic purpose and is an unsuccessful strategy
This is important as each concept in a course builds on the previous concept. Turning in late work only generates points with out timely practice and comprehension of the concepts
If you are having trouble with an assignment it is your responsibility to be proactive by speaking with me or e-mailing me well before the due date.
If missing assignments are too common, you will receive a detention to complete them for 65% credit. They can only be made up in detention.
Students can also voluntarily make up assignments in detention for 65% credit
Extra Credit assignments are not available.
You may receive credit for (1) late item per 9 week period only. (Student can pick which one)
If you have an excused absence, school policy states you have the same number of days your were absent to turn the work you missed in. It is your responsibility to find out what is missing, and what is due and when.
