What is MimioStudio?
MimioStudio™ classroom software powers all the MimioClassroom™ products, so using other tools, from the document camera to the interactive flat panel, is quick and easy. MimioStudio software allows educators to create interactive whiteboard lessons and collaborative and team activities, and perform real-time formative assessment.
Will MimioStudio open SMART Notebook files and ActivInspire flipcharts?
Yes. MimioStudio will open and convert in a single, easy step. Open MimioStudio on your computer, choose File > Open. Navigate to the location where your *.flipchart or *.notebook file is saved and select Open.
Can I use MimioStudio on my home computer?
Yes. A free version of the MimioStudio is available for home-use on personal Windows or Mac computers. You can download the software by visiting Mimio's downloads page.
To create lesson resources, you do not need to activate when prompted. The limited version of MimioStudio still allows for creating and saving *.ink files using the pens, shapes, and image gallery.
