In conjunction with the theme for this year’s SG Diamond Jubilee Challenge (Skills for Life), the focus for this year’s Job Week is for our Scouts to share with their friends and family members important digital skills.
At LHMSC this morning, our Cougars helped to clean the centre and also taught the seniors at the centre digital literacy skills such as how to use the SingPass app and LifeSG apps.
Job Week aims to inculcate in Scouts the dignity of labour, value of honest work and offers Scouts the opportunity to help others in return for donations. Through the values learnt from working for their keep, the experience will help Scouts build character to become active citizens and play constructive roles in society.
