Welcome to Milton Recreation!

Milton Recreation (MRec) is a School District of Milton supported program, designed to help serve the community. By offering quality recreational programs to our community, we encourage fitness of body and mind for all.

Our programs emphasize sportsmanship, fairness, skill development, community and team building. Through our program offerings, and in collaboration with our community, MRec serves to enrich the already outstanding quality of living in the School District of Milton community.

Announcements & Updates

Summer open swim dates and times:

MRec will be offering summer open swim at the Lieder Family Pool on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:45pm-2:15pm for all open swims. We will offer open swim through July 29th.

Cost for open swim will be $3 per person or $5 for a family of 4 or more in a family. To enter the high school please enter door number 16 located in the back of the building by the north parking lot. Once inside the building, please enter the pool locker room hallway and enter the pool area by going through the locker rooms. We have a female locker room, family locker room and a male locker room. Once you enter the pool area, please see a lifeguard to pay for your open swim.

MRec Summer Marlins

The Rec Marlins swim team is about the fun of being on a swimmer. Basic stroke technique is emphasis and most importantly the spirit of improving your strokes and times. To be eligible to join the Rec swim team, swimmers must be able to show that they can dive from the blocks or the edge of the pool, swim one pool length front stroke, and one pool length back stroke.

REC TEAM:
$85 per swimmer

Practice begins on Monday June 8th

Practice Times: Monday-Thursday 11:30AM to 12:45PM (Swimmers will be able to have flexible practice times if needed. Please communicate with the coaching staff on what you are needing for a practice time)

NOTE: These are NOT Swim Lessons. If you child still struggles with front crawl and back crawl, I kindly suggest you sign them up for Swim Lessons.

MREC SUMMER SWIM LESSONS

Attention all swim lesson fans! Swim lesson sign up will open registration on May 11th for our summer swim lesson schedule. Swim lessons are $35 per person per session. We have all levels of swim for each swim lesson session (level 1-level 6).

You must complete the registration process to reserve your spot. Please go to www.milton.k12.wi.us/community/milton-recreation.cfm to register for lessons. With questions please contact the Rec Department directly at mrec@milton.k12.wi.us

Lieder Family Pool Notice:

On Saturday June 27, 2026, the Lieder Family pool will be closed due to the 4th of July Milton Mile swim fundraiser. We will look to open the pool on Monday June 29th for evening lap swim. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

Morning Lap Swim Hours

Tuesday: 5:00am-7:00am

Wednesday:5:00am-7:00am

Thursday: 5:00am-7:00am

Friday: 5:00am-7:00am

Evening Lap Swim Hours

Monday: 5:45pm-6:45pm

Thursday: 5:45pm-6:45pm

Lap swimming prices will be $3 drop in to lap swim which can be paid to the lifeguard on duty.

Swimmers can also pay for a lap swim passes.

We offer the following passes:

1 month = $20

6 months = $60

12 months = $120

Each swim pass is good for morning or evening lap swim times.

Drop in payments of $3 can be given to the lifeguard on duty.

Entry to the pool will be at door 16 by the back parking lot or door 12 for a flat surface entry.
