Welcome to Milton Recreation!

Milton Recreation (MRec) is a School District of Milton supported program, designed to help serve the community. By offering quality recreational programs to our community, we encourage fitness of body and mind for all.

Our programs emphasize sportsmanship, fairness, skill development, community and team building. Through our program offerings, and in collaboration with our community, MRec serves to enrich the already outstanding quality of living in the School District of Milton community.

Announcements & Updates

MRec 6th-8th Grade Girls Flag Football:

MRec is going to be offering a new flag football league for girl that will be in 6th-8th grades for the 2026/2027 school year.

Registration will open July 15th for this new girls flag football league. Registration will be based off of the 2026/2027 school year (Grade players are entering into this fall).

MRec Flag Football:

MRec flag football registration will open July 7th for the fall football season. Registration will be based off of the 2026/2027 school year (Grade players are entering into this fall).

MRec will offer the following leagues:

Kindergarten/1st grade (in-house)

2nd/3rd grade (participates in the Quad County League and will travel to surrounding communities)

4th/5th grade (participates in the Quad County League and will travel to surrounding communities)

MREC DANCE CLASSES:

MRec dance is excited to be offering another year of dance classes for our students. We again will be offering the following classes the 2026/2027 season: Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Poms and adult dance classes.

Classes run from end of September 2026 through the beginning of June 2027, with 4 terms of 8-week classes.

Classes are once a week on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (subject to change due to the number of dancers and class sizes)

The year end recital is on June 5th at the Platts Performing Arts Center at Milton High School.

Lieder Family Pool Notice:

Summer open swim dates and times:

MRec will be offering summer open swim at the Lieder Family Pool on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:45pm-2:15pm for all open swims. We will offer open swim through August 12th.

Cost for open swim will be $3 per person or $5 for a family of 4 or more in a family. To enter the high school please enter door number 16 located in the back of the building by the north parking lot. Once inside the building, please enter the pool locker room hallway and enter the pool area by going through the locker rooms. We have a female locker room, family locker room and a male locker room. Once you enter the pool area, please see a lifeguard to pay for your open swim.

Morning Lap Swim Hours

Tuesday: 5:00am-7:00am

Wednesday:5:00am-7:00am

Thursday: 5:00am-7:00am

Friday: 5:00am-7:00am

Evening Lap Swim Hours

Monday: 5:45pm-6:45pm

Thursday: 5:45pm-6:45pm

Lap swimming prices will be $3 drop in to lap swim which can be paid to the lifeguard on duty.

Swimmers can also pay for a lap swim passes.

We offer the following passes:

1 month = $20

6 months = $60

12 months = $120

Each swim pass is good for morning or evening lap swim times.

Drop in payments of $3 can be given to the lifeguard on duty.

Entry to the pool will be at door 16 by the back parking lot or door 12 for a flat surface entry.
