Flag Football

MRec Flag Football:

MRec flag football registration will open July 7th  for the fall football season. Registration will be based off of the 2026/2027 school year (Grade players are entering into this fall).  To register for MRec flag football please go to our website miltonrec.com

League breakdown:

Kindergarten/1st grade

Flag football will be offered for kindergarten and 1st graders together in a league (2026/2027 school grade).  This will be an in-house league where our players learn the game game and play other teams from Milton.  Games will be located at Schilberg park or Central Park.

Practices will be scheduled per the volunteer coach. Two practices a week will be held prior to games starting. Once games have started, coaches will still continue to practice but may reduce to one practice a week.  Games are played on Saturdays as well as some week nights if we have enough teams to hold these games during the week. Game schedules and locations varies based on field availability in Milton

2nd/3rd grade 

Flag football will be offered for 2nd and 3rd graders (2026/2027 school grade) .  We will be involved with the Quad County league with surrounding communities. 

Practices will be scheduled per the volunteer coach. Two practices a week will be held prior to games starting. Once games have started, coaches will still continue to practice but may reduce to one practice a week. 

Games are played on Saturdays as well as some week nights. Game schedules and locations varies based on field availability within Milton and the surroundings communities that are in this Quad County League. 

4th/5th grades

Flag football will be offered for 4th and 5th graders (2026/2027 school grade) .  We will be involved with the Quad County league with surrounding communities (travel to games will be required). 

Practices will be scheduled per the volunteer coach. Two practices a week will be held prior to games starting. Once games have started, coaches will still continue to practice but may reduce to one practice a week. 

Games are played on Saturdays as well as some week nights. Game schedules and locations varies based on field availability within Milton and the surroundings communities that are in this Quad County League. 

Girls Flag Football league for 6th-8th graders

MRec is going to be starting a new flag football league for girls that will be entering 6th-8th grades (2026/2027 school grade) .  This will be a combined grade level league for the girls that register in the grades of 6th-8th grades.  We will be involved with the Quad County league with surrounding communities that are also going to be offering 6th-8th grade girls flag football.   We will need to have enough players to register to have at least 1 team to make this league work.  If we don't have enough players that register, we will not have this league. 

Practices will be scheduled per the volunteer coach. Two practices a week will be held prior to games starting. Once games have started, coaches will still continue to practice but may reduce to one practice a week. Games will be located at Schilberg park or Central Park.

Games are played on Tuesdays as well as some other week nights if we have enough teams. Game schedules and locations varies based on field availability
