There are five steps to be completed for enrollment in College Institute. Registration is different depending on if you have previously taken classes, or if you are new to Dual Enrollment. Questions about the registration process can be directed to the GHS College Institute Coordinator/DEPA. The MC Office of Academic Initiatives has a useful resource page and step-by-step guide here

If you've already completed your online application to MC and have received your M#, you can register for your classes by creating your dualenroll.com account here. To create an account and pick the courses you'd like, you must have this information available:

  • MC ID number, also known as M number
  • Your cell phone number (As an alternative, an email address)
  • Email address of one parent/guardian
  • The name of your high school counselor
  • Selected a class in which you would like to enroll whether at high schoo, on MC campus or online.
  • If you or your parent/guardian do not receive a message to verify/approve, please check your junk or spam folder.

The steps for enrolling in a class through the dualenroll.com website are provided here.

Step One: Meet with the College Institute Coordinator/DEPA and your high school counselor to discuss your overall education plan in relation to Montgomery College courses, specifically the MC courses you wish to take.
