Dual Credit information
With prior approval, a student will earn 1.0 high school credit toward fulfilling the 22-credit requirement for graduation for each 3- or 4-credit college-level course successfully completed
Grades earned in courses at institutions other than MCPS, will be included in the student’s weighted and unweighted grade point averages unless the student elects the credit/no credit option in advance of enrolling in the course
Dual enrolled students may only retake college courses for high school credit with the prior approval of the principal and the high educational institution, as appropriate. Prior approval is also required for a dual enrolled student to take other courses for high school credit after failing a college course, or dropping a college course without approval
Dual Credit Refusal form: REQUIRED AT TIME OF MC COURSE REGISTRATION Is part of the DualEnroll.com process and enrollment in a course cannot proceed without it
Counselors are required to sign in with their Google Drive account to the Counselor Folder
