REMINDER: You will complete the Chapter 1 Test first lesson back in 2026.

Ensure you bring: 

Completed holiday homework, charged CAS calculator, pens/pencils/rulers, updated bound reference. 

Unit 3&4 General Mathematics Holiday homework: 

1. Bookmark General Maths site: https://sites.google.com/mckinnonsc.vic.edu.au/generalmaths/home

2. Carefully read through Unit 3/4 General Maths Orientation Week presentation.

3. You will need to buy a 240 page VCAA approved notebook for your bound reference (this is not for your textbook work).

4. You need to summarise Chapter 1 notes in your bound reference, please see "Approved Materials and Equipment for VCE" document for guidelines. 

5. Buy a display folder (or similar) to keep handouts organised.

6. Buy Cambridge Unit 3&4 General Mathematics textbook from the booklist (second edition). 

7. Complete questions from Chapter 1  (including the Chapter Review)

8. Watch videos and complete notes for concepts not covered in orientation week. 

9. Worksheet booklet including Chapter 1 Practice test. See videos for teacher explanation videos.
