Business Management

In studying VCE Business Management, students develop knowledge and skills that enhance their confidence and ability to participate effectively as socially responsible and ethical members, managers and leaders of the business community, and as informed citizens, consumers and investors. 

The study of Business Management leads to opportunities across all facets of the business and management field such as small business owner, project manager, human resource manager, operations manager or executive manager. Further study can lead to specialisation in areas such as marketing, human resources, logistics and distribution, public relations and event management.

The document below is work that is to be completed during Orientation week and also holiday homework.

Orientation lesson plans 

** Ensure you have 2 books or folders for next year - one that you bring to class to complete all of your DRAFT notes and responses, and another that you keep at home to complete hand written summary notes each week.

Holiday homework:

• Watch Edrolo videos x 2 - Types of Business, Business objectives

• Complete all Edrolo short answer questions (at end of video) that match the appropriate video

• Create your summary notes on the first two key knowledge dot points in a separate book (we will view these first lesson back!). You may choose to use this textbook until you get your own copy. 

• Ensure all tasks from Orientation are completed to your best standard. Let's start strong!!
