- First, each team/partnership will participate in a team building activity: Find a number that you have in common with each other and write it on the back of the team name slip. Try to find a number that no other teams will think of--do not use the obvious things like this course number, your age, high school graduation year.
- Second, come up with a team name. You can use the information that you have in common, or come up with a name that has to do with MEL, or capitalize on your being a Web design firm, or just come up with a name for no reason. It's entirely up to you and your partner. (Think about David Letterman's "World Wide Pants" or "UBU Productions" (Sit, Ubu, Sit.)) Put the name in the appropriate blank on the front of the slip.
- Then fill out the remainder of the front of the slip with your block #, individual member names, assigned modality, and assigned software. This slip is your "exit ticket" for today's class.
- Fill out the 2x2x20 Timeline and Team Contract. Each team member fills out their own copy and everyone signs their teammates copies (original signatures on each copy of the contract). You can also choose to create one that's totally different but works for you (but must include the same major components and must include signatures from participants).
- Turn the team slip in to Dr. Theresa (the entire team must go together to turn in the team slip) and have a 60-second team interview. (Don't turn in your copy of the Team Contract.)
