In keeping with the scenario that you are an employee of a Web 2.0 design firm, the Process section takes you through steps to first become familiar with what it might mean to work at a Web 2.0 design firm (Step 2) that is about to undertake a project designed around learning styles (Step 1). Then as an employee of that firm, you become familiar with your potential client's products (Step 4).
However, as educators, this WebQuest is about honoring learning styles. If you would prefer to know more about MEL before you learn about working at a design firm or about learning styles, feel free to jump ahead to Step 4 and do it first. You must, however, stay with the deadline for Step 3 (turning in your "application") so that teams may be assigned in a timely fashion. If you need different deadlines for Steps 1 and 2, that can be negotiated but you must do it prior to the established deadlines for those steps.
