Dr. Muir thanks you for your submission. He realizes that it's sometimes daunting to understand the model when you are a teacher trying to understand ways to really help your students learn. The next hardest thing to do is to apply that knowledge and actually teach in a meaningful and engaging way. The Meaningful and Engaged Learning Model is meant to help teachers succeed.
They say, "To teach is to learn twice." It is hoped that by trying to figure out a good way to teach the MEL model to someone you don't know--someone who's on the other side of the Internet from you--that you have actually learned more about the MEL model in the process.
