The Meaningful Engaged Learning (MEL) Model is a powerful theory of how all students can learn in the right setting. School districts across the United States are using the model in their professional development for teachers. Alan November, one of the first five Christa McAuliffe Educators and author of the book Empowering Students With Technology, often cites the MEL Model in his keynote speeches and writings internationally. However, unless you hear MEL's creator Dr. Michael Muir, talk about it, the only sources of information about it currently are a diagram and an article. It's time to create a meaningful and engaging online presentation of the Meaningful Engaged Learning Model.
