Pinewood Derby

The Pinewood Derby Extravaganza is a racing event mainly for Cub Scouts in the Boy Scouts of America. Cub Scouts, with the help of parents or older students, build their own cars from wood, usually from kits containing a block of pine, plastic wheels, and metal axles.

There's also an event for the general public which is called the Midnight Life Size Derby which is a "car of death down the track of little integrity" with a passenger on. Mainly for older students, hobbyists, and parents alike.

The event is supposed to happen on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 2050 Bryant Street. However, the Engineering club won't have enough time to prep up and help out the scouts for the derby and thus, cancelled out from the current projects.
