The final design project for ENGN 48L was, on the surface, relatively simple. Design groups were tasked to "clean" up a "basketball" court by removing as many balls as possible in the span of 2 minutes. We attempted the competition in miniature with 150 ping pong balls representing basketballs on a 4'x8' sheet of plywood.
Design layout and rules explained
Design groups had to design a robot that would knock as many balls as possible out of the enclosure. They had to make it over the wall.
The winning design did an awesome job knocking a bunch of balls out!

The traditional end of semester pizza party
Chevy, the Engineering Club president, refused to leave. Turned out the lights and closed the door. He was in the same position when we returned two weeks later after the holiday break.
