Application

Acceptance to the program means that the student will be expected to enroll in the ASR Journal Club during the spring semester and that we will attempt to place the student in a laboratory that matches their stated interests. Student placement is, of course, subject to identifying a good match. A good match depends on a number of factors including scheduling, availability of the directing scientist, suitability of a project, and required prerequisite knowledge. Students may not always get their first choice. Priority will be given for opportunities that will give students high quality research experiences.

After applications are received, they will be reviewed by the Science Department and the Research Program Coordinator.
