David J. & Kathleen E. Hentges
Because of their commitment to education, David's roots in Le Mars, and his strong feeling that the education he received in Le Mars provided a solid foundation for his career, Kathleen and David Hentges established this educational legacy, the David J. & Kathleen E. Hentges Scholarship, to help others achieve their educational dreams and goals. Two (2) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded, thru the Le Mars Community Schools Foundation, to a graduate of Le Mars Community Schools who plans to pursue a bachelor's degree from any accredited college/university in the nation.
Selection of the recipient will be made by the Foundation Scholarship Committee.
The recipients will be selected on the basis of the above as well as the following:
Academic Success (GPA 3.0 or higher)
Financial need
