Marjorie Perry Memorial

Scholarships, in memory of Marjorie Perry, will be offered through the LeMars Community Schools Foundation to graduates of Le Mars Community Schools who will pursue a degree from a technical or trade school.  Each award will be payable one-half the first year and one-half the second year to the same recipient who continues to qualify.

Selection of the recipient will be made by the Foundation Scholarship Committee.

The recipient will be selected based upon the following criteria:

• Financial need

• Potential for success

• Any unique circumstances and/or hardships

• A students’ perceived willingness and eagerness to obtain a 2-year education to enable him/her to become productive citizens

• Academics and participation in school/community/family activities
