William H. & Shirley J. Timmins Higher Learning

The family of William H. & Shirley J. Timmins, through the Le Mars Community Schools Foundation, will award two (2) $500 scholarships to graduates of Le Mars Community Schools who are pursuing a degree in any field of study from a 2-year or 4-year institution of higher learning. 

Selection of the recipients will be made by the LCS Official’s scholarship selection committee.  

Recipients will be selected based upon the following criteria: 

•  Any male or female student planning to attend a 2-year or 4-year institution of higher learning

•  A GPA of 3.0 or higher

• Character and citizenship

• Participation in school, community, and volunteer activities

• Financial need
