Good Samaritan Society

Good Samaritan Society, through the Le Mars Community School Foundation, will award one (1) $500 scholarship to a graduate of Le Mars Community Schools who is pursuing a degree in nursing or related healthcare field from any 2-year or 4-year institution of higher learning. 

Selection of the recipient will be made by Good Samaritan Society of LeMars.  

Recipients will be selected based upon the following criteria: 

• Any male or female student planning to attend any 2-year or 4-year institution of higher learning

• A GPA of 3.0 or higher

• Community involvement

• Field of study:  Nursing or related healthcare field

Please attach to your application a letter describing why you would like to pursue a career in healthcare/nursing.  Please note any connections with Good Samaritan Society or another long-term care facility.
