Because of their families' commitment to education, Lorene Rexwinkel's years of teaching in the school system, and the strong education that the children received, the Rexwinkel family established the Rexwinkel scholarship to help others reach their educational goals. Two (2) $1,500 scholarships will be awarded, thru the Le Mars Community Schools Foundation, to graduates of Le Mars Community Schools who plan to attend an accredited school in the nation.
Selection of the recipients will be made by the Rexwinkel family.
The recipients will be selected on the basis of the above as well as the following:
Academic Success (GPA 2.5 or higher)
Extra-curricular activities
Community activities
Work history
