Don Shilling Memorial Track & Field

In memory of Don Shilling (former LeMars Community Schools teacher and long-time boys cross country and track coach), friends, family and colleagues of Don through the Le Mars Community School Foundation, will award one (1) $500 scholarship to a graduate of Le Mars Community Schools who will pursue a degree from any accredited institution in the nation.

Selection of the recipient will be made by Le Mars Community School.

The recipient will be selected on the basis of the above as well as the following:

• Academic Excellence

• Character and Citizenship

• Leadership and involvement in school and community activities

• Must have participated in at least 2  years of high school boys track
