I am Romanian, my husband is Polish, and I teach Spanish. I lived in Chicago for 4 years and in Texas for 16 years. This brief description summarizes my multicultural background.
I am Romanian, my husband is Polish, and I teach Spanish. I lived in Chicago for 4 years and in Texas for 16 years. This brief description summarizes my multicultural background.
My first career choice was Nursing. I developed a passion for Spanish when I came to the United States, and I decided to go back to school and get a BA degree from Texas State University (Eat 'em up cats!) with a major in Spanish and minor in Education. I enjoy learning new things about different cultures, and I know that my Spanish classes provide many opportunities to "explore the world" and think more globally; "think outside the box".

Mon. and Thu .8:00 - 8:30 and 4:00-4:30 (please schedule an appointment)
Fri: 3:50-4:05 Duty
NSHS meets on Thursday after school (3:55 PM) and Friday morning (8:10 AM) in room AW110 on the first week of every month.

My classroom operates on mutual respect. I am here to encourage and facilitate language learning. My students should not be afraid to make mistakes, take risks, and ask questions. All students should take advantage of available resources: google classroom, website, textbook, notes, dictionary (or online word reference such as www.wordreference.com), family members, and friends. I am available to help. Please come to see me during DEN, before and/or after school.
