Spanish 2 Vocabulary Lists
Spanish 2 students will learn the following vocabulary throughout the year. Click on the donwload button to view or print the vocabulary. These lists have the top 10 most important vocab words but a complete list is available in your textbook at the end of each chapter or in the online version of your textbook. Conjuguemos.com also has Expresate textbook vocab lists.
Online verb conjugation and Vocabulary
Go to www.conjuguemos.com and log in using your UN and PW you set up at the beginning of the year. Use the orange bar to nagivate. Click on "Spanish verbs" to practice conjuations or click on "vocabulary by book" to obtain lists by chapter. The name of our book is Expresate 2. You may also do puzzles, play with flashcards, or self-test.
Electronic Flashcards
Go to www.Quizlet.com then select "find flashcards".
In the search textbox type: "Expresate 2 ch__.__" with the exact chapter you need. (e.g. 2.2 or 3.1) Once you find the flashcards you can do drill and practice at the level you need. TITULO: “UN VIAJE A (................)”
o To practice using the preterite tense, create a PowerPoint about an imaginary trip you took to a Spanish-speaking country, entitled a “UN VIAJE A……………”
o You must include at least at least 12 slides.
o Each slide must contain a sentence that is at least 7 words in length (so add details!)
o All information should be related specifically to the culture of that country. Avoid any negative stereotyping or any details that may not be school appropriate.
o Each slide must contain a picture that represents exactly the meaning of the language on the slide.
o Use the program mybrainshark to record your voices onto the PowerPoint. Send a link for your PowerPoint to celly. Make your voice is clear and that you speak with enthusiasm!
o Any effort to go above and beyond will result in bonus pointsJ

Weather forecast- watch forecast in Spanish from Despierta America
Tarea: alone or with a partner, you will make a weather forecast for any Spanish speaking country. Draw (or print) a map of any Spanish speaking country and label 5 major cities. Look up the forecast for today, or tomorrow. On the map you need to write the maximum temperature for each city and what the weather will be like. Put a symbol for those conditions (a sun, a cloud, lightning, etc.) Put some color on your map. Next class you will present the weather for each city. You'll have to say what the maximum temperature will be and if it will rain, be sunny, ..Try and use the future tense when you can.
