LUHS: Virtual Learning Academy offers a diverse assortment of courses selected to provide flexibility for our students as they prepare for their post-secondary goals.

CompassLearning: Odyssey

Via CompassLearning's Odyssey program, we provide students with individualized learning paths to meet students where they are while providing instruction and support to move them forward with their academics. Many core courses begin with a pretest used to determine specific needs and skill deficits for each individual student. Instruction is provided via a combination of video, audio, text and animated instruction with interactive components in a rigorous delivery method.

Edgenuity

Through our Edgenuity contract, we offer extended core opportunities as well as a variety of general education and career and technical education electives. Edgenuity courses feature rigorous, standards-based instruction and powerful interactive tools that support learning. Engaging multimedia and real-world applications help ensure students build content knowledge an essential skills.

Through our contract with FuelEducation, we provide students with extended elective, core and Advanced Placement (AP®) courses to expand student curricular opportunities.

Enrollment in FuelEducation courses can only take place with prior administrative approval. Any student seeking the challenge of a FuelEducation course should first meet with their academic counselor to begin the referral process.
