Medicine Unit Guiding Questions and Themes

What are systems? What is the pedagogy of medicine? How do medicine and research affect our lives? Explain history of medicine over the decades in relation to people’s needs, innovation and technology, and economics.

Students will study life systems, discuss and research longitudal ethical issues, dissect a variety of animals, learn more about medical tools and methods, and much more. This unit is inquiry-based driven.
