Who am I? That is a deep, philosophical question that can take a lifetime to answer. The process of knowing oneself, and our relationship to the world, can begin with small steps.
In this project, you will take several tests, each chosen for a specific purpose. You will record your results and your interpretations on a Google Presentation. You will customize your Presentation and add more pictures and information about yourself. Finally, you will share your Presentation to the class so we can get to you know better!
Look over the whole page first. There are six tests and two self-assessment forms. You are going to do all of these in any order. But not yet...
The Process, Part One: Technology Setup
1. First, make sure you are logged into your ladueschools.net email account using Google Chrome.
2. You will need a place to save your results and to record your thoughts. Open this blank Who am I? Results Document. Then click on File and then Make a Copy, then rename it as <Your First and Last Name> Who Am I Results Report, and share it back to your teacher with editing rights.
Once your Who Am I Results Report is set up, you can begin. (Be sure to keep this webpage and your results report open as separate tabs in the browser window. You can do the tests in different tabs too--it helps to be able to see everything and makes it easy to access everything.)
The Process, Part Two: The Tests
3. Choose a test. Click on the link above the picture. Take the test, and make sure your Who Am I Results Report is open in another tab. Once you finish a test, record your results on the corresponding section. Return to this webpage.
4. Next, click on "Explanation of Results" under the test you just took's picture. Read the information carefully, then be sure to copy important information onto your Results Report too.
5. Repeat Step 3 until all tests are finished. A couple hints: the Jung Typology test is long, so start it at the beginning of a class because you can't save your work. Also, the Positives and Negatives isn't a test but a self-assessment and be sure to follow the instructions on it carefully.
6. Remember, your teacher can help at any time. Be sure to ask. When you finish all tests, tell your teacher so she can help you with Part Two below.

Positive and Negative Characteristics of Gifted Children
The Process, Part Three: Prepare for Presenting
Prepare for presenting your results to the class!
Open this blank Who Am I Google Presentation.
Then click on File and then Make a Copy, then rename as "(your first name) (your last name) Who Am I Presentation" then share it back with your teacher.
Fill in your test result information from your Who Am I Results Report on the slides. It's absolutely fine to have more than one side per test because you will edit it down later. You can have more than one slide per test at the end, too.
Be sure to include images, background images and colors, fonts, and anything else that makes it visually fun without being visually overwhelming!
Remember to follow the guidelines in the Good and Bad PowerPoint Slides Presentation that your teacher will show you to make it great!
Also Include...
A Quote! Read the collection of quotes that resonate with gifted people.
Choose one that you’d like to use to express how you feel about you or as a personal motto or statement about what you believe to be important. (You may also choose to select a number of quotes, instead of just one.) Put that quote on the slide in your Presentation.
Make it personal!
Include photos of yourself, information about yourself, and your personal reflection about your discoveries.
Format your Presentation, and be sure to proofread it for any mistakes.
The Process, Part Four: Presentation of Your Results and Self Assessment
Present your results to the class.
Complete a self-assessment of your work on this project.
Hey, look: Assessment!
