This guide assumes a working knowledge of zoom already.

Cameras - position a camera at a flattering angle (not too high nor too low) and sit facing a window or other light source. This prevents students from having to stare up their teachers' noses during class, as well as limiting harsh shadows and light.

Background - anything goes! Using zoom's greenscreen feature to have any kind of background allows you to minimize the distractions in your background, whether it be a mess or family members walking through. Unusual backgrounds could also help spark discussion and participation in class.
