You can use other browsers such as Chrome, Samsung Internet, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox to access the internet. You have to download these from the play store if they aren’t already downloaded on your phone. All of the browsers work in relatively the same way, with only a few differences.
Short cuts
Getting to your home screen. Tap on the house icon in the upper left hand corner. It will take you straight to google where you can look things up. To change your home page, tap the three dots in the top corner, then settings. Scroll until you find Home Page, then click on it. Tap on the URL link, and paste the new link that you want for your home screen here. Don't forget to tap the save button.
Bookmarks. This serves the same purpose as your favorites bar on the computer. To save a bookmark, first go to the website, then tap on the three dots in the upper right hand corner. Tap on the star in the top part of the menu. You can then tap edit (pops up in the bottom bar) and change the name of the bookmark, and sort it into a folder. To access your bookmarks, tap on the three dots, then tap bookmarks, then tap on the website you want to go to.
Changing tabs quickly. Instead of tapping on the little number at the top of the screen, you can just swipe down from the top to look at all you tabs. Also, you can swipe (at the top by the URL) left or right to switch in between tabs.
Refresh. Instead of taping on the three dots then hitting the refresh button, you can just swipe down to refresh the page you are looking at.
History. If you want to go back to websites you have already been to. Just tap on the three dots in the upper right hand corner, then click history. Then scroll until you find the website you want and click it.
