Geologic Time

This video is a great way to get the bigger picture of what Earth History is all about. We will be learning about many of the concepts that they cover in this video in this unit and in Plate Tectonics. One of the biggest take aways should be HOW we know the age of the Earth? We will go over extensively what EVIDENCE is and what it tells us (ANALYSIS).

Day 17 & 18:

  1. Warm Up: What is Earth History and how do we know what happened? Answer the question in the Google Classroom STREAM and then watch the video. Provide a 2nd response in the comment box of your original answer.

  2. How the Earth was Made Chapter 1 EdPuzzle - Learn about three famous scientists that contributed to the understanding of the age of the Earth. You will use the graphic organizer seen below to take notes I specify in the video about each scientist and answer the interactive questions in the EdPuzzle. Find the EdPuzzle assignment posted on our Google Classroom.
