Am I eligible for a fee waiver?

If you can't afford the registration fee for the ACT (No Writing) or ACT Plus Writing, you may be eligible for an ACT Fee Waiver.

You must meet all of the following requirements:

• Currently enrolled in high school in the 11th or 12th grade.

• Either a United Stated citizen or testing in the U.S., U.S. territories, or Puerto Rico.

• Meet one of more indicators of economic need listed on the ACT Fee Waiver form. "Enrolled in a free or reduced-price lunch program at school" is one of the indicators.

Information about the eligibility requirements and how to request a fee waiver is sent each summer to high schools. See your High School Counselor to determine eligibility and request a fee waiver.
