College Application Process

For Texas Public Schools and Some Texas Private Schools: Texas Common Application Apply online - https://www.applytexas.org/. When applying to a college/university that does not use the Texas Common Application, visit the school's home page and look for the application link.

For private colleges & out-of-state schools, https://www.commonapp.org/ or go to the college's homepage and click on "Admissions" or similar link.

Complete and submit your admission and scholarship applications online. BE AWARE OF THE APPLICATION DEADLINES!!

Send all required documents to the College:

Completed application, High School transcript & College transcript for Dual Credit Students, ACT, SAT or TSI test scores, review college website for any other required documents such as an Academic Resume or Letters of Recommendation. Again, be aware of the deadlines!

Do not wait on your SAT or ACT test scores. The college will add your scores to your application packet when they are sent by the testing organization. The college will always take your highest score regardless of when it was taken, first or last.
