Vibrational and Ultra-fast Laser Spectroscopies for BiomedicineTânia Ribeiro has a Master's degree in Chemistry. She has worked on the synthesis and characterisation of magnetic nanoparticles for magnetic hyperthermia therapy and, during her MSc thesis, she explored the nonlinear optical properties of carbon dots. Currently, she is a PhD student in Physics at FCUP and her research is focused on ultrafast pump-probe spectroscopy of nanomaterials.
Research Topics: Ultrafast pump-probe spectroscopy, Z-scan, Laser ablation
