Advanced Energy MaterialsMaria's current research focuses on the integration of 2D MXene flakes into organic polymers for reservoir computing applications. Physical reservoir computing systems based on resistive switching are fabricated by self-assembly techniques. Resistive switching is characterized in two-terminal devices, by optimizing the material's properties, both by tuning the composite's and MXene's proprieties, such as oxidation state or surface terminations. Characterization techniques such as XRD, FTIR, Raman Spectroscopy, SEM, TEM and XPS are performed to study the materials.
